Sheila began her 30 year insurance career as a casualty underwriting assistant for Grain Dealers Mutual Insurance Company. After three years with an insurance company, she chose to move to the agency side of the business. Sheila worked as a Customer Service Representative at Rollins Burdick Hunter for 18 years where she attained the position of Vice-President.
She moved to McGowan Insurance Group in 1995 where she is now Assistant Vice-President and Commercial Lines Manager. During her employment with McGowan Insurance Group, she has served on several Company Advisory Councils including Hartford Insurance Co. and Harleysville Group.
Sheila attained her Certified Insurance Counselors Designation in 1995 and was the 1999 Independent Insurance Agents of Indiana Customer Service Representative of the year.
