A seasoned veteran of the health insurance industry, Joy brings over 30 years of insurance experience to the McGowan Insurance Group. Her employment history includes the former Indiana Blue Cross and Blue Shield (now part of Wellpoint, Inc.) as well as two of Indiana’s largest Third Party Administrators, Key Benefit Administrators and CoreSource. Specializing in employee benefits, Joy has held positions in client sales and service, internal auditing and management. Most recently, Joy held the position of Vice President of Employee Benefits at The Banks’ Insurance Agency, located in Indianapolis.
Joy is a graduate of the Indiana College of Business and Technology and has attended IUPUI. She has also completed course work towards completion of her CEBS and CLU and holds a CHC designation.
Joy works in all areas of employee benefits, primarily focusing on employer-sponsored health, life, disability, payroll deducted and long term care plans.
